Qatar handball team line up for Olympics Qualifiers
Doha, July 26, 2019- The Qatari handball team will begin their training camp on Saturday in preparation for the Asian men's handball qualifiers for the Olympic Games which will be held in Doha October 17 to 27.
The Qatari handball team were drawn in Group A alongside Saudi Arabia, India, and Hong Kong, while the second group included Bahrain, South Korea, Iran, and Kuwait.
The first-place winners qualify only for the Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020), while the second-placed will play-off for qualification.
It will be the second time in a row that Qatar hosts the Asian Men's Handball Qualifiers for the Olympic Games, after hosting the 2015 Qualifiers for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
