New Challenges ahead of Qatar National Football Teams
DOHA, June 12, 2018- The Qatari national football teams will participate in a number of important events at both international and continental levels during the upcoming sports season.
The Qatari senior team will participate in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup which will take from January 5 to February 10, 2019, in the UAE.
Qatar will play in Group E alongside Lebanon, North Korea and Saudi Arabia.
The Qatari U23 team will compete in the 2018 Asian Games to be staged in Jakarta, Indonesia in August.
Moreover, the Qatari U19 team will be looking forward to claiming the title of the AFC Youth Championship to be held in October 2018 in Indonesia. The championship will serve a qualification event for Youth World Cup in Canada.
The state of Qatar will play in Group A alongside hosts Indonesia, UAE and Chinese Taipei.
