Nasra Mohammed wins pistol gold in GCC Women's Games
Kuwait, October 24, 2019 – Qatar's Nasra Mohamed claimed the gold medal of 25m Pistol event at the sixth edition of GCC Women's Games 2019 in Kuwait.
Aysha Al Beraiki of Bahrain took the silver medal while her compatriot Moza Ali finished third.
Moreover, Qatar's skeet team including Amal Ahmed, Fatima Saeed and Aysha Ahmed clinched the bronze medal on Wednesday. Kuwait led the standings while Bahrain took the second place.
On the other hand, Qatar fencing team grabbed the silver medal of Epee event and bronze medal of Sabre event.
In basketball event, Qatar defeated Oman 61-23 while Qatar handball team eased past Oman 31-15.
The sixth edition of Games is bringing together six GCC nations who are competing in 11 events.
