Eighth edition of Advanced Sport Management Course begins
DOHA, September 16, 2018-The eighth edition of Advanced Sport Management Course (ASMC) organised by the Qatar Olympic Academy (QOA) under the supervision of International Olympic Committee (IOC) began on Saturday.
The seven-month course brings together 45 trainees.
The first chapter of the course highlights the structure of the Olympic committees and the Importance of the Olympic Movement.
The course lecturer Dr. Holger Preuss from Gutenberg University focused lights on nature of Olympic sports organizations and the optimal governance at these organizations.
Mr. Saif Al Naimi, Executive Director of the QOA said that the course mainly aims to provide advanced training to the administrative staff and the sport officials in effort to increase their experience and career in the sport field.
