Bassem Hemeida bows out
Paris - Team Qatar's Bassem Hemeida concluded his participation in the 400 meter hurdles race at the Paris 2024 Olympics on Tuesday.
Yesterday, Hemeida competed in the second round of the 400 meters hurdles, recording a time of 49.64 seconds. However, he did not qualify for the final, marking the end of his participation in the ongoing Summer Olympics in France.
Despite being eliminated from the tournament, Hemeida achieved his personal best record during this season.
Hemeida expressed his optimism for the future, noting that he faced significant challenges with injuries this season, which impacted his preparation.
