Qatar Handball Team to play four friendly matches in preparation for Asian Games
Doha, July 8, 2018- Qatar handball team will play two matches with their Iranian counterpart at the end of this month to prepare for the 18th Asian Games to be held in Indonesia from August 18 to September 2.
The Qatari team will also play two qualifying matches with Portugal's Lisbon team early next month before departing to Indonesia for the Asian Games.
Qatar team looks forward to maintaining their gold medal in the last edition of the Asian Games (Incheon 2014) after winning the final in South Korea (24/21).
The Qatari team won the 18th Asian Men's Championship in Suwon, South Korea, early this year, qualifying for the World Championships in Germany and Denmark next year 2019, after winning the final match against Bahrain (33/31).
