Qatar Handball Team return to a warm welcome
DOHA, January 30, 2018-The delegation of the Qatari handball team was given a festive reception upon its arrival at Hamad International Airport on Monday after winning the 2018 Asian Men's Handball Championship held in South Korea.
Ahmad Al Sheabi, President of the Qatar Handball Association (QHA) congratulated the Qatari leadership on this achievement and said, “We dedicate this achievement to HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and to our government"
Al Sheabi also thanked the Qatari Ambassador in South Korea for his support to the Qatari delegation during the event.
The Qatari team claimed the title after their 33-31 victory over Bahrain in the final match held on Tuesday.
